4. Becky Struggles Against Liv

Becky Lynch has been on a one-woman quest to convince everyone – especially herself – that she hasn’t lost a step, and that she’s still an elite wrestler capable to defeating anyone.

Monday, she took her fight to Liv Morgan, who is also focused on Rhea Ripley these days, albeit for different reasons. The two cost each other matches against Nia Jax the past two weeks, leaving them with unsettled business. Appropriately, their match was an ugly struggle at times, as they jockeyed for control in the early going before trading blows and landing haymakers.

Both women hit their finishers, with the opponent rolling to the floor to prevent a pinfall. They countered each other’s signature spots and traded submission holds and rollups before Liv’s over-aggressiveness got the best of her, as she leapt into a Manhandle Slam for the win for Becky.

Still, it was a real fight for Lynch, which played into Becky’s “old gunslinger” approach to how she competes these days, having shootouts with younger wrestlers and finding ways to win.
