6. Lola Commits

WWE Raw Lola Vice Roxanne Perez

Following up on last week’s debut, Raw GM Adam Pearce brought out his newest signing Monday night, Lola Vice.

Having won a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match next month, Vice got to introduce herself to WWE fans, observing that her mother – who came from Cuba to provide a better life for Lola – got her into glamour and dance, while her father introduced her to MMA.

That short introductory interview was cut even shorter by Roxanne Perez, who insulted Vice and her father before telling the NXT call-up that she was “levels below” the Prodigy. The two women shoved each other, and that’s when Lola swung a backfist that, had it connected, would have absolutely concussed Roxanne. Fortunately, Perez ducked and retreated.

You have to praise Vice for being swinging with intention and counting on Roxanne to evade the punch. Also, this makes for a solid first feud for Lola on the main roster and sets them up to have a confrontation during the MITB match. Perfectly acceptable stuff.
