6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (28 Oct - Results & Review)
1. A Mega-Flat Main Event
Meanwhile, this just didn't click.
Damian Priest beating the snot out of Dominik Mysterio before the rest of Judgment Day arrived on-set to save his skin didn't work as planned. WWE surely thought fans would be into the one-sided kicking Dom Dom received, but Hershey sat on their hands like they'd just sat through an exhausting six-hour Wrestling Challenge taping from back in the day.
The segment, which included a post-match beatdown from Priest to avenge Mysterio stealing his win via roll up, was flatter than a pancake. It's clearly time to move Damian on from feuding with his old stablemates now, 'cause that scenario feels a bit old hat. We've all been there, done that with Rhea and Damian biting back at JD.
The wild thought of Dominik building a portfolio of undeserved wins before challenging for the World Title is interesting, but there wasn't much positive to say about this triumph over Priest. It came and went with zero energy and a ton of apathy from fans inside the arena.
Swing and a miss.
