Hit up the #WWERaw hashtag and you're sure to see some fans whinging about Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser being a rematch from the summer months. So what? One of those accounts probably fawned all over Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes part six without irony. If rematches are tidy and well-worked, then what's the problem?

Sheamus vs. Kaiser definitely was, and it had purpose.

Announcers Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett framed the bout as a contendership situation for the Intercontinental Title. That happened during close-ups of Ludwig's mug in-ring pre-match, so everyone watching knew exactly what was at stake. Now, everybody also knows something else: Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus is going to be one hell of a scrap.

Think Sheamus vs. GUNTHER from before. That was for IC gold too, and they produced the goods on multiple occasions. Bron will benefit from going at it hammer and tongs with a veteran like the Irishman. Don't worry about Kaiser, because he'll be absolutely fine. Brighter days still lie ahead for him - this fan is sure of it.
