6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (28 Oct - Results & Review)

R-Truth The Miz

Sorry, but R-Truth popping The Miz with a right hook after almost falling for his sob story was tremendously entertaining. Miz, who's caught between doing what Final Testament boss Karrion Kross says and running away from Uncle Howdy's mob, tried his best to trick Truth into a tag-team reunion after turning on him previously.

Little Jimmy whispered in Truth's ear and put a stop to that.

Truth socked Miz, then actually said: "Good luck with The Wyatts. You're gonna die!". That last line was unexpected, but it's in-fitting with the guy's off the wall approach. So, mind you, is walking past a baffled Pete Dunne, calling him Butch and asking where Pete is. Nobody pulls off that kind of comic timing like Truth these days.

These little story-based segments worked a treat on this week's Raw. None of them were particularly long-winded, but they all pushed narratives along and that's a major plus. Bonus points if WWE thinks to put Otis and Truth is a comedy tag-team going forwards - there could be something to work with in that.
