3. This Doctor Clearance Felt Weak

Urgh, storytelling like this is akin to pulling teeth.

So, Chelsea Green has been appearing and actively wrestling in a protective mask for a few weeks now, but we needed Nick Aldis bringing a fake doctor to the ring to publicly clear her? Chelsea: “We have already done this before”. Yes, yes we have champ. This whole deal was a waste of everyone’s time. It simply didn't need to be on the show, because it added nothing.

Green’s promo was fine as usual, but this is one segment that didn’t need to chew up airtime. The doc’s material had pretty much already been said. Also, can we just get a move on with the Nia Jax title shot already? What’s the hold up here? She's been hunting down Chelsea for a while now, yet nothing of any significance seems to happen.

Previously, Green rightly earned huge plaudits for a fiery and spirited promo shortly after winning the Women's Title at SummerSlam. She passionately put forward her case for holding onto the thing even thought Aldis planned to strip her 'for her own good', and it resonated with fans. Try as she did, Chelsea's follow up speech fell short of the mark this time. That isn't her fault - the script was kitten milk weak for sure.

Finally, who picked that doc for this speaking role? He didn't even deliver the lines he was given with any gusto, and in fact seemed to the least convincing doctor since Joey Tribbiani hit daytime TV in the 90s.
