6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 30)

Ups...

6. Max Dupri No More!

So long to Max Dupri. We hardly knew ye!

The artist formerly known as LA Knight could be set for a return to his old NXT ways after splitting from Maximum Male Models on SmackDown. This, dear readers, is actually a good thing for Max - his kayfabe sister, Maxxine, is actually better-suited to managing the team solo.

Dupri showed more in this one segment than he has since becoming Vince McMahon's male model agent earlier this year. The old swagger was back, and that's worth keeping an eye on too. Put it this way: WWE could have a tough time booking such a natural heel as a face.

Meh, it's worth trying out, 'cause LA was going nowhere as Max Dupri. If anything, his importance to the MMM cause had been downplayed since Maxxine showed up in July. Let's get this guy back in the ring again for matches ASAP.
