6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (16 March)

1. Is Jazz Next?

As it currently stands, the Knockouts Championship challenger for Deonna Purrazzo at Rebellion hasn't been made entirely obvious. It could be Jordynne Grace, it could be ODB in a rematch, or it could be Jazz, as it currently seems.

Last night's show brought with it a mammoth twelve-knockout tag team match, pitting Jordynne Grace, Jazz, ODB, Havok, Nevaeh, and Alisha against Deonna Purrazzo, Kimber Lee, Susan, Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz, and Tenille Dashwood, and sadly, the match dragged. It focused far too heavily on the usual multi-person tag team matches, featuring the everyone-gets-their-sh*t-in twice. Neither of them hit home the way they could have.

One good spot saw Jordynne and Tasha hit stereo suicide dives onto everyone else, but that was about the only good thing. Jazz hit Kimber with a Jazz Stinger, followed not long after with a match-winning STF. Now, Jazz is set for a singles contest with 'The Virtuosa' next week in a non-title clash.

The women's wrestling icon has now submitted both Lee and Susan, both of Deonna's cronies. Is she being geared up for a Knockouts Championship opportunity at the 24 April pay-per-view? She's not all there in the ring anymore. Sure, it would be a nice way for Impact to thank Jazz for her dedication to the business over the years before she officially retires, but it doesn't need to be for the championship. Sorry, Jazz - you're just not that good anymore.
