6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE NXT Spring Breakin' (30 April - Results & Review)

UPS…

5. Giant-Killers

Axiom Nathan Frazer
WWE

As far as match quality goes, Nathan Frazer and Axiom were never going to pull a three-and-a-half-star match out of Authors of Pain. Once you disabuse yourself of that notion, it’s easier to accept what they actually pulled off at Spring Breakin’.

The speedy duo weathered AOP’s onslaught and managed to put down the invading brutes – with a little help from New Catch Republic, or proved to be equalizers to the Final Testament. For Axiom and Frazer, the win continues to establish them as giant-killers, having knocked off the champions Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin earlier in the month.

Yes, the match was crap, and it was never really in doubt that AOP wasn’t capturing the tag titles here, but the champs winning fairly cleanly was a nice surprise here, so it gets some mild kudos.
