4. #DIY, Creeds Put In Work

When the match between the Creed Brothers and #DIY was announced, it felt like one team was going to get the short shrift, or worse, the match itself was going to play out to silence.

Thankfully, both teams worked hard to pull the fans into the contest, with a series of false finishes at the end leaving you guessing which of the two teams on the ascent was going to falter. It turned out that Ludwig Kaiser played a pivotal role, getting revenge for Imperium’s loss last week by booting Johnny Gargano and sending #DIY to defeat.

The match wasn’t a classic or anywhere on par with what one would think these four would be capable of delivering, but it was a solid little TV match that further established the Creeds as a team to watch, while setting up a return match between #DIY and Imperium, which could be fun if given some time.

Now, if Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are still spinning their wheels with Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in another month, this is going to have aged poorly.
