3. Stark Gets Her Moment

Zoey Stark has all the qualities and tools needed to be successful in WWE, so it was satisfying to see her take a step forward Monday night.

Stark won a battle royal on Raw to become number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, setting up a title match against Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series. Zoey has come a long way from a lackluster debut, to being Trish Stratus’ lackey (which admittedly wasn’t a bad move), to striking out on her own while in an alliance with Shayna Baszler, whom she eliminated last on Monday.

WWE would do well to further establish Stark’s character and show her personality to the fans, but if she and Ripley get the time during the next couple of weeks and then during the PLE, she could accomplish all of that. Stark did a nice job in a backstage promo later in the show when she told Ripley to hold onto the title “nice and tight” until Survivor Series.

No one is holding their breath that Zoey will unseat Rhea, but this still is a pretty good call.
