5. Really Selling The 3MB Implosion

Is anyone buying this impending Jinder Mahal/Drew McIntyre match as anything other than filler?

Mahal has not been presented as anything of a threat, having to rely on his heavies, Shanky and Veer, who have also been overmatched too. Even together, they haven’t really been able to get one over on McIntyre yet. They didn’t even make it down to ringside, backing off when Drew grabbed his sword (yes, that’s a thing).

So how are we as fans supposed to buy a possible SummerSlam match – or any kind of match – if Jinder isn’t even remotely threatening? Maybe they’ll book a 3-on-1 match, but even that isn’t really convincing at this point.
