6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 9)

1. Jobbing To A Doll

You’ve got to wonder if the paycheck Piper Niven cashes makes up for the fact that she now goes by the name Doudrop, seconds a recycled part of the bygone Divas Era, and on Monday jobbed to a possessed doll.

Yep, Doudrop faced Alexa Bliss in a match that was all angle, with Bliss contorting herself in weird positions to creep her opponent out. Of course, Doudrop made the critical error of trash-talking Lilly, which led to the doll winking at her, which distracted her long enough for the diminutive Bliss to roll her up for the pin.

In case you’re keeping score, that’s another NXT (UK) wrestler coming up and getting treated like a goof on the main roster shortly after their debut. But “jobbing to a winking doll” has to be at the bottom of anyone’s resume.
