It’s been a while since we had a women’s multi-wrestler match main-event Raw, but Monday’s closer was a solid effort from all six women.

The 3-on-3 tag match started slowly, with women tagging out to try to get a rivalry pairing to lock up, and then settled into a nice rhythm, with Liv Morgan suffering for a good chunk of the bout. Naturally, the returning Asuka got a huge hot tag and ran wild, including a hip attack that sent Sonya Deville to the floor – right into a Morgan Code Breaker.

In the end, it was Deville, stripped of her executive powers, trying to exert influence and being rebuffed, who then fell prey to Morgan’s Ob-Liv-ion for the pin, but everyone looked strong, the rivalries were maintained but not exposed, and the babyface who probably most needed a win to be believable in her feud got the win.

Who booked this? Clearly someone was paying attention.
