6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 19)

1. Edge’s Main Event Commentary

When was the last time a guest commentator genuinely enhanced a match in WWE? It doesn't happen often (most guests either barely utter a word or stumble their way through interruptions when the full-time announcers are trying to call major spots and moves). In short, they can be distracting.

Step forward and take a bow, Edge.

He did a bang-up job of working with Cole and Graves throughout the six-man main. Also, Edge took the time to talk up matches against almost everyone in there, including the likes of Corbin and Zayn. What's more, he somehow got even better when ex-JR botherer Paul Heyman joined the group at ringside.

It would've been easy for Edge to take a back seat once a seasoned mouthpiece such as Heyman sat down, but he didn't. He was well-spoken, picked his moments and gave oodles of insight into why he'd like to wrestle many names on SmackDown's roster.
