4. A Wild Tony Nese Appears

Tony Nese was hardly a major star in WWE, and he never really got much of a chance beyond the peripheral 205 Live brand at all. Looking back though, Nese excelled with whatever meagre scraps Vince McMahon handed him, and he should be a neat fit for AEW's midcard.

That could blossom into something more if they show patience.

Perhaps the only worry is that there's now a glut of fine workers to appease. There definitely isn't as much house room on the All Elite undercard as there was a few years ago, and that could work against Tony. Nah, he has the chops to find his place and become a credit to the roster.

The best thing about his AEW debut is that the promotion didn't go overboard with hype. They showed enough self awareness to casually present Nese as an interested onlooker who wants to make a splash. That was all his first appearance on camera needed to be.
