6 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 5)
2. Bahh's Battle
After a pep talk from The Rascalz last week, Fallah Bahh went into battle with Michael Elgin, looking to exact retribution for his mentor TJP. Without any shadow of a doubt, this was one of Bahh's better performances since coming to Impact a few years ago.
However, the end result means it finds itself on this side of the column.
This was a classic big man vs. big man bout, with a power struggle getting things started off before Elgin more or less dominated Bahh for the duration of the match. He got some brief flurries of offence in here, but it was never going to be enough to keep Elgin down, although he did get right back to his feet after being nailed with an overhead belly to belly suplex.
A crossface got the win for Michael Elgin here, even though it's Fallah Bahh who should've won. While you could argue back with the fact that Elgin shouldn't be losing to people lower down the pecking order in Impact, especially since he recently defeated Naomichi Marufuji, this could very well have been the coming out party for Fallah. He needed a big win to get his career on track, not another loss just for the sake of it.
