3. Grudges Being Held

Jey Uso rejoining WWE as part of the Raw roster was quite the surprise Saturday night, but it also immediately opened the door for several new rivalries with the multi-time tag champion now going it alone.

However, just because Jey is a babyface, that shouldn’t mean that all is forgiven and he can just slap hands with the good guys on Monday nights. As part of the Bloodline, Uso was essentially a gang member who terrorized both rosters and did every underhanded thing possible to protect Roman Reigns and his world championship(s). More than a half-dozen members of the Raw roster have had the “pleasure” of tangling with Roman and the Bloodline.

Thankfully, WWE saw it that way too, as two of those members came face-to-face with Jey Monday night. Just moments after Sami Zayn welcomed Uso – and warned him of a locker room that is full of people not happy to see him – Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle both came out for their tag match and individually stared Jey down.

Hopefully, WWE doesn’t just make this a one-week thing. Jey should be shunned for a bit, forced to earn respect and trust. Turning on Roman was a big step, but it also could easily be viewed as selfish rather than virtuous. He should need to prove himself to McIntyre, Riddle and others before he is welcomed at the next babyface confab in the locker room.

For now though, a couple uncomfortable stares was the right call.
