It was only a matter of time before WWE brought Bron Breakker up from NXT 2.0 to compete on the main roster.

However, Monday’s debut wasn’t really a call-up, so much as a spot start, with the NXT Champion showing up to team with Tommaso Ciampa to promote their triple threat match that also involves Dolph Ziggler. The Show-Off teamed with Robert Roode to take on the two NXT stalwarts, but Ziggler would fall to an impressive Breakker.

The debut went about as well as could be expected, especially considering Bron has fewer than 20 matches until his belt – total. Giving the kid more exposure and opportunities to prove himself could be great if done properly, and a tag match with three pros was one way to do just that.

Here’s hoping WWE brings Breakker along carefully and doesn’t thrust him too far into the spotlight before he’s ready. Bron is a talented guy, and we should all want him to be successful.
