6 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 3)

1. First Time Ever

Originally, you could envision this being a WrestleMania match, but really, can you blame WWE for cashing in now on what actually is a monumental first time ever match?

Bobby Lashley won the fatal four-way on Raw, earning a shot at Brock Lesnar and the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. That should be a fantastic match of two powerhouses just going at it. Depending on how WWE scripts it, it could be a 5-minute sprint, or a 10-15 minute epic battle. Either way, the winners should be us fans.

It didn’t hurt that the four-way bout to set this up was also pretty good, closing out Raw on a positive note.
