6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (12 June - Review)

5. Battle Of The Heat Magnets

Cody Rhodes could do worse for his gap month in his feud with Brock Lesnar than to clash with his polar opposite second-generation superstar.

After last week’s confrontation and slap, Rhodes challenged Dominik Mysterio to a match at Money in the Bank, not bothering to mince words. Dom hemmed and hawed for a bit, drawing some boos before Rhea Ripley accepted on his behalf. A Miz sneak attack allowed Mysterio to nail another cheap shot, making another deposit for which there will be a receipt coming.

As a technical match, this will probably only be marginally better than Miz/Cody was Monday night, but as a social experiment in crowd reactions and playing to the fans, it could be epic. Either way, it’s very likely going to be good fun, and it’s better than giving Rhodes some midcard filler to occupy the month before Brock returns to fight Cody at SummerSlam.
