6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 37 - Night 2

2. Women’s Tag Match Fizzles

No one was really expecting much from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler and Natalya & Tamina, and it’s clear why.

All four women worked hard, but no amount of forced effort could make up for Nia and Tamina stumbling around the ring. It’s hard to believe that they have 16 combined years of main roster experience. Nattie and Baszler did an admirable job, but everything was hinging on the Samoan showdown, so we had to endure that.

At the very least, this was probably the least bad option of the tag teams from Saturday’s tag team turmoil match to have a passable match against Jax & Baszler. The only other option would have been the Riott Squad, and they wouldn’t have been believable against the champs.
