6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE's Road To WrestleMania 36

5. The Undertaker Goes 'Bad Ass'

Last year's dreadful match with Goldberg was a watershed moment for The Undertaker. Since then, he's worked a meaty tag-team bout with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2019 and ignited a feud with AJ Styles that'll peak at 'Mania in the barmy 'Boneyard Match'.

Best of all, 'Taker finally looks to have dropped his supernatural guise in favour of a more gritty, realistic and still-pleasing biker aesthetic. The 'American Bad Ass' is back, and it's something to savour for fans who were starting to think 'The Deadman' should call it quits. He looks more motivated than ever, and his promos back that up.

That foreboding speech on Monday's Raw was to-the-point and just f*cking ace.

Provided the 'Boneyard' stip doesn't get in the way, Styles bumps around for the veteran like a man possessed and 'Taker turns up wearing biker gear rather than his more traditional garb, the match should be a memorable occasion. This is all another (much-needed) step in the right direction for a legend who must be protected.
