4. The Promos

It'd be foolish to claim that professional wrestling shows are better off without fans. Live crowds are the lifeblood of WWE - they help shine the product up for viewers at home by creating natural atmosphere, and they also put money in company coffers by way of ticket sales. To dismiss that would be terribly unfair.

That doesn't mean there aren't any benefits.

WWE's roster has visibly grown in confidence on the mic since working these empty areas tapings at the Performance Center. Promos from Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and more have been scintillating, and that's partly because they're not playing before trolling "What", "CM Punk" or, "We Are Awesome" chants.

Elsewhere, authentic stories like the Edge vs. Randy Orton feud are being given time to breathe. Workers aren't pausing to let audiences react, and they're able to speak more naturally than they ever have. It's refreshing, and it's been a hidden upside to these enforced shut-ins.
