Ups…

We could very easily give a “down” here for Mustafa Ali & Mansoor losing another tag match, but instead, we’ll look at the positive here.

The new tag team of real-life cousins Humberto Carrillo and the criminally under-utilized Angel Garza won in their first tag match on Raw, defeating Ali & Mansoor in a pretty convincing fashion. There wasn’t much to the match, but the cousins showed an intensity we haven’t seen in a while from them, and they downed Ali in fine fashion.

Now, if they run Garza and Carrillo out there next week to lose, then we’ll take all this positivity back but this was a nice start for the new team. And Ali & Mansoor can regroup – it’s not like they had a ton of momentum.
