Enzo and Big Cass have already created a stir on the main roster. In three short weeks, they've started a feud with The Dudley Boyz, reached the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championship number one contenders' tournament, and delivered some of the best promos on WWE TV in ages. Still, they came back to NXT for one last match with a team they've never faced before - NXT Tag Team Champions American Alpha.

The bout was wisely a non-title match, as Enzo and Big Cass failed in their last shot at the belts and haven't done anything since to earn another one. It wasn't a classic - certainly not on par with the AA-Revival match at TakeOver: Dallas - but it was a fun chance to see the two most popular teams in NXT history mix it up.

Enzo and Cass fought hard, but AA picked up the win when they nailed Enzo with the Grand Amplitude. The champions came out looking great, Enzo and Cass left on a high note themselves, and the tag team division is in the hands of American Alpha.
