Fresh off his Neville-inspired heel turn on last week's Raw, TJ Perkins was in action against "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher - but first, a special guest was announced as sitting ringside: none other than Cruiserweight Champion Neville. Before the match could get underway, though, Austin Aries introduced himself and took a seat next to the champion.

The bout itself was a really good TV match, with both guys showing off technical ability and athleticism. Still, it felt like the big story was that Aries and Neville were at ringside, and that's kind of sad - after all, the Cruiserweight Classic was universally praised, but now, the top two stars in the division are guys who weren't involved and the winner is basically an underling.

Anyway, the finish came when Perkins shoved Gallagher into Aries, knocking him down. Aries went to get in the ring, but Neville hit him with the title belt. While the referee was distracted, Perkins kicked the middle rope into Gallagher's eyes. He then followed up with the Detonation Kick, ending a thumbs-up contest.
