6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 28)

Ups...

6. Dispatching Paige

Let’s face it: Paige serving as the manager of the Kabuki Warriors was an odd fit in the first place. It was a nice sentiment to try to give the two Japanese warriors a face mouthpiece, but it never really got a chance to gel.

But with the Warriors turning heel after winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, the alliance seemed out of place. That’s why it made good sense to break up the arrangement. And rather than just have Paige – who’s been on the shelf after surgery for a couple months – disappear from the scene, she showed up to eat Asuka’s green mist and be drummed out of the act.

While the Kabuki Warriors might not be lighting it on fire right now, keeping them on TV and having them “attack” one of the more popular female acts on the roster is a smart move.
