3. Kane’s Path Of Destruction

So, that’s how it’s gonna be.

Kane is going to just plow through the roster en route to being served up to Braun Strowman (and probably then Roman Reigns just to close that loop). The Big Red Machine once again took out Finn Balor, but this time added Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to his hit list, along with SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan, who stopped by to visit.

Kane’s victories at this stage of his career might serve a purpose, but it’s tough to agree with that purpose: build the former monster up so he can then put Strowman over in their impending feud. At least, that’s what it feels like what we’re getting close to.

But it’s not like Kane is a guy with long-term prospects. He spent much of the past two years putting over most of the roster, so it’s not like this is uncharted territory. Sure, beating up Balor, Rollins, Ambrose and Bryan might look impressive, but once Braun topples Kane, he’ll trickle off into nothingness, likely before Rollins and company can extract their revenge.
