6 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE TLC 2017

5. Cedric Gets Some PPV Time

Say what you will about the state of cruiserweight division (and there’s a lot you could say), but one bright spot is Cedric Alexander.

The man who made such an impression at the Cruiserweight Classic against Kota Ibushi that fans chanted for WWE to sign him is perhaps the best prospect in the division to eventually transition to the main roster.

So it was great to see him get a lot of time to shine during a cruiserweight tag match with Alexander and Rich Swann taking on Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher. Cedric hit all his signature spots, looking crisp as ever and getting the win.

If nothing else, WWE did right by letting the four men have a few minutes to fly around the ring. They’re not going to undo a year of poor booking/writing, but at least give us something to be entertained by – which this did.
