4. Asuka Still Undefeated

Did anyone else get a twinge and bad feeling that WWE would be crazy enough to beat Asuka in her first match, just to prove a point?

Thankfully, nothing of the sort happened, as Asuka tapped out Emma in a surprisingly competitive match. While it’s not a surprise that Emma is a talented wrestler, it was a little surprising she got as much offense in as she did, trading submission attempts, getting a few near-falls and even slamming her off the apron.

But the Empress of Tomorrow was never really in danger, as she gave fans who might not be familiar with her enough of a show to want more. And the Minneapolis crowd certainly was into Asuka.

Now, let’s see how WWE treats and uses her going forward.
