6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Aug 7)

2. Cass Is S-A-W-F-T

Earlier this summer, WWE broke up what could have been the modern-day version of the New Age Outlaws, a tag team whose catchphrases and mic work overshadowed (in a good way) their ringwork and made them a great hype team to compete in the opening match.

Someone must have seen something in 7-foot-tall Big Cass, so breaking him and Enzo Amore up was in order. And look, if WWE feels like Big Cass is money, then fine, go for it. But having him get knocked out twice by Big Show might not be the best look.

Using a giant like Show to put Cass over as a new giant is a smart move. And Show has to look like a legit threat to Cass for this to work. But knocking the younger 7-footer out in back-to-back weeks? That might be a bit too much, making Cass look too vulnerable. Unless he wins at SummerSlam in convincing fashion, it could backfire.
