6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 11)

Downs...

6. Jose The Joke

Remember when No Way Jose was a semi-serious competitor who just liked to party for half a heartbeat?

WWE is full of different personalities and characters. Not all of them can be killers who go out and attack their opponents. Some are there solely to entertain.

And then there’s No Way Jose, who is apparently there to be a moron. After Elias had finished insulting his hometown of Pittsburgh, Jose and his conga line came out to dance. As Jose trooped around the ring carelessly, Elias hit a wrecking ball dropkick and took No Way out (see what was done there?). From there, Elias attacked a couple members of the conga line before laying Jose out with Drift Away on the ramp.

Again, WWE needs different personalities on its show, but that doesn’t mean we can’t groan at the stupidity of one of them. In this case, Jose has to be one of the least self-aware characters on the roster.
