No one in their right minds thought that Lucha House Party was going to upset The OC on Raw Monday night, so how do you make fans watch the match?

You could either do a 30-second squash and end it quickly, before someone changes the channel, or you make it competitive, with the underdogs getting in a decent amount of offense. The latter happened, and we ended up with a perfectly enjoyable six-man tag with a totally predictable outcome. Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik all got in decent offense before AJ Styles dropped Kalisto with the Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

If you had never watched Raw, you would have thought the luchadores were competitive challengers. And if you’re a regular, you were pleasantly surprised to see the three talented masked wrestlers getting to show a little of what they can do.
