We can question the wisdom of making the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match the Raw main event, but it’s hard to deny that that was some satisfaction in seeing Enzo Amore get what was coming to him.

Since making the transition to the cruiserweight division, Enzo has been a lightning rod for criticism. Fair or not, he is viewed by many as bringing the division down – at the same time that the division is talked about more than it has at almost any previous point.

Monday, Amore battled Kalisto in a lumberjack title match that was moved up from TLC. In the end, Kalisto ended Enzo’s brief run, hopefully in a way that puts more eyes on the division and lends a little credibility to the title.

But at the very least, Enzo was shut up Monday night in front of more than 10,000 fans.
