3. Strowman Looks Strong

Despite the negative marks for Sami Zayn being booked to be Braun Strowman’s personal punching bag, the Last Man Standing match Monday night did accomplish one thing.

Strowman came off looking tough for withstanding countless chairshots and kendo stick shots during a bout that mostly took place outside the ring. Zayn lit up Braun with kendo sticks and steel chairs and even put him through a table, and Strowman kept coming. He’s clearly still learning how to play the role of an unstoppable giant, but you can see him improving gradually.

While Braun clearly still is green, he’s also learning as he goes. Knocking Sami off the stretcher at the end was a nice touch. Hopefully, Strowman will develop into more than just a flavor of the month challenger for someone like Roman Reigns, because the company is continuing to make a notable investment in Braun.
