2. A Desperate Veteran

Watching Chris Jericho play the role of cagey veteran is fun. The former six-time world champion is clearly on the downswing of his career, so it’s understandable that he’d need to resort to some tricks.

So when Jericho challenged Roman Reigns for the United States Championship, it was a great site to see Y2J channel his inner Eddie Guerrero and toss the title to Roman and then collapse on the mat. (There was a stipulation that Reigns would lose the U.S. title on a DQ or countout.) Jericho tried a few different things to get the advantage, but he kept falling short.

In the end, one of his tricks backfired and Jericho hit the exposed turnbuckle and fell to a spear, which was a perfectly suitable end to the effort.
