6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 11th)

4. Rowan And Harper Reunite

To be honest, this could easily have been a €œdown€ on the basis that these two should never have been separated in the first place. Also, both men had been losing quite a bit on their own, so why should fans or wrestlers fear them together? That aside, putting Luke Harper and Erick Rowan back together as a tag team accomplishes a couple things: It (re)creates a powerful tag team that could easily dominate the tag scene, providing imposing heel opponents for a face team. It also gives purpose to two wrestlers who were floundering as singles competitors and going nowhere. We already have seen them together and know they play well together, so this should have an instant buy-in from fans. Now, if WWE really wanted to complete the circuit, they could put the duo back with Bray Wyatt to give him two heavies to carry out his edicts again. Even if not, the reformed team will need to find a target soon. Taking turns demolishing Fandango isn€™t going to cut it week in and week out.
