6 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 22)

3. A Strong Win For Strong

Otis Undisputed Era

The Undisputed Era's ill-advised stramash against The New Day and Heavy Machinery was plodding along pretty decently until things metaphorically fell down the stairs in the last part. That the eight-man descended into an uncoordinated mess does not bode well for the fifteen-strong tags to come this Sunday, but it was generally a fine encounter which positioned the NXT lot well as heels, and crucially, gave them the victory ahead of WarGames.

What's more, a crowd generally unreceptive to pretty much everything going on throughout the night bought big into Heavy Machinery, and in particular Otis' spots. They showed they could cut it with the best, which is reassuring as Otis is definitely the sort who'll get a bigger push in the future.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
