6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 14th)

2. About Face (Turn)

In the preview column, the suggestion was made that New Day continue €œa slow transition rather than just outright trying to be babyfaces.€ Well, so much for that.

WWE went all-in in the best possible way Monday night in making the WWE Tag Team Champions faces, with the League of Nations administering a 4-on-3 beatdown after the challenges failed to capture the tag titles for the second time in three days. The League walloped the New Day, mugging them and hitting their finishers on all three as they fought valiantly.

The result was a crescendo of boos raining down on the League of Nations as New Day was left knocked out in the ring. This was an extremely effective way to not only turn New Day into good guys, but it got Sheamus, King Barrett, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio one of the strongest reactions they€™ve gotten in quite some time. Mission accomplished.
