6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 6)

4. Strowman… Walks?

Ever since re-debuting on Raw after the draft last summer Braun Strowman has been nearly unstoppable. The one blemish on his record came Sunday night when WWE’s anointed savior Roman Reigns ended his seven-month undefeated streak, so naturally, Braun called Roman out on Raw.

Instead, The Undertaker made his return to WWE and engaged in a staredown with Strowman. It triggered a “Holy sh*t!” chant from the crowd, which apparently thought that this was going to be the WrestleMania match for the Deadman, refuting longstanding rumors of Roman Reigns getting the coveted spot.

And then, Braun nodded at Taker… and backed down… and backed out of the ring… and backed out of the ringside area… and backed out of the arena. And then he was gone.

Seriously, what the actual hell? Strowman made his mark by almost never backing down from a challenge. Seeing him not only leave the ring, but leave the arena, really was disconcerting. It was awkward as hell, and decorum demands that this be addressed, because otherwise, it was completely out of character for a guy spoiling for a fight.
