6 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (June 13)

1. Posing As A Feud

Vince McMahon loves a good posedown – the owner of the former World Bodybuilding Federation has to by law – but that doesn’t mean wrestling fans will.

Raw was main-evented by a Bobby Lashley/Theory posedown that went about as badly as you’d expect. First, there was only about seven minutes of the show left, which meant things were rushed. But then, we burned through a series of poses, with Theory complaining the whole time on a live mic. This led to a confusing exchange with him and Adam Pearce.

Lashley naturally won the fans’ vote, and Theory threw a temper-tantrum by spraying him with baby oil and attacking. Aaaaand, that was it. What an absolute joke.

If you were looking for the definition of “mid-card feud,” this segment was it. So much for Lashley looking like a main event guy. Here, he looked like a former top guy slumming it in the lower tier.
