Maybe when Roman’s suspension is over, Vince McMahon welcomes him back with open arms. They engage in a touching Vince/Steve Austin type hug backstage, and move forward like nothing ever happened. It may sound far-fetched, but the boss has a long, convenient history of forgiving his top stars of their sins, while lesser talent suffer his wrath.

Think back to Shawn Michaels, and all the shenanigans he pulled when he was on top. The man got away with saying he lost his smile, and Vince embraced him in the ring for it! Then there were the legendary battles with The Ultimate Warrior, and while the boss lost his cool, he’d always be angling to bring the superstar back. Vince is often willing to forget and forgive if he thinks doing so will make money.

Everyone knows that Roman Reigns is Vince’s pet project. The boss has remained unusually stubborn with keeping him in a top role, despite ratings dropping, and the hostile live crowd reactions. You would think this has to be it, and that he’ll finally re-think his master plan.

However, most people would have thought he would have given up on Roman being a top guy over a year ago. So, perhaps it's just going to be business as usual.
