Alberto del Rio has been hotly pursued by the MMA world for months, and seems to have some sort of agreement with GLORY, the kickboxing promotion, as they offered a fight with him to another highly recognizable name from the wrestling world, who we'll get to later. However, del Rio would be much better off signing with Bellator. Del Rio has a respectable record of 9-5 as Dos Caras Jr. in promotions like Pride and others. That record includes a six fight win streak from 2007 to 2010. Easily the biggest name on the market with existing MMA experience, Bellator should be throwing money at del Rio to make this match happen. A fight with GLORY wouldn't get in the way either, as Bellator has shown that, unlike the UFC, they're willing to share talents.
