6 Wrestlers Who Have Quit WWE In 2019

2. Kacy Catanzaro?

There's a question mark here, because, as of October 2019, Kacy Catanzaro's WWE status is still up in the air, though it looks for all intents and purposes as if she is done with the company. This past September, it was reported that the NXT star had requested her release from the promotion, with the following personal Tweet corroborating the story:

"You just gotta do things your own way. Think outside the box. Push away that voice in your head that tells you to conform. Trust that little voice in your mind that tells you that you don’t have to be like everybody else."

Though it may seem a little odd for Catanzaro to walk away from WWE at this stage of her career, especially when she is romantically connected with main roster star Ricochet, it's understood that a back injury has forced her decision. Whilst it's a shame to see the American Ninja Warrior contestant call it a day, it's an overwhelming positive that she was able to make the decision, rather than being forced into it.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
