7 Cruiserweights Who Beat Ric Flair
4. Jeff Hardy
Before his recent deletion, Jeff Hardy spent most of his recent career billed at 215lbs, easily making weight for a traditional cruiserweight division. Despite never really having that iconic main event run, Hardy must go down as one of the most successful and popular cruiserweight wrestlers of all time.
He also managed to defeat Ric Flair in the only one-on-one meeting the two ever had, on an episode of Monday Night RAW way back in February 2007. Hardy was the Intercontinental Champion at the time, but for whatever reason that title wasn't on the line in this match. I can only assume that was because it was 2007, and the Intercontinental Championship barely existed.
Flair was something of a babyface at the time, and as a result there was a lot of respect throughout the match. Well, as much as one would expect in a match featuring the Dirtiest Player in the Game. Jeff won with a small package after Flair spent a little bit too much time 'woo'-ing.
The best part of this entire episode was JR's immense pushing of Skittles throughout though.
