4. Stevie Richards
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUi5eRjKYFA There were a few incarnations of Stevie Richards that made him stand out in ECW. He became a lackey for Raven, who was a cult leader type of character. He got Richards to do whatever he wanted, which usually involved Richards taking a beating for him. Later, he was part of the ridiculous Blue World Order (BWO) group that was a comedic knockoff of WCW's NWO group. It was never really meant to be serious, but it was a lot of fun to watch. Richards signed with WCW in March of 1997 basically because they were creating a stable called Raven's Flock. They likely saw that Richards worked with him in ECW, so they signed him up to be a part of the group. It was typical WCW in that they weren't ready to come up with their own stories. Once again they just assumed people knew who he was. His WCW career really didn't get him very far as he became a lower midcard wrestler. Once The Flock lost their momentum, he became expendable and was gone in October 1997. Part of it was because of a neck injury, but they didn't miss him because he was barely used.
The good news for Richards was he was able to recover from the neck injury and had a solid career with WWE after that.
