2. Sandman
It can be argued that no ECW wrestler looked more out of place on WCW TV than Sandman. He was a beloved ECW figure that was prominently featured in the company in 1992 until he left for WCW in 1999. Once he left ECW, it was a bad sign for them because that told fans that something was wrong. He was one of the true ECW guy with the gimmick of an ass kicker that liked to drink and smoke. It was perfect for what ECW was. His WCW debut took place on Nitro on February 1, 1999. He was wearing barb wire on his body, he had a kendo stick in his hand and he attacked the likes of Van Hammer upon his debut. Then he did a promo talking about his history with barb wire. He didn't say where he did those things. Of course it was from ECW, but the announcers were talking like they had no idea where this guy came from. Here's another example of WCW's stupidity. He called out Bam Bam Bigelow in his first match and Bigelow won clean. Way to debut the guy and have him lose right away. Brutal. Sandman ended up using the name Hak. This was around the time WCW was trying to create a Hardcore division basically because WWE had done it and they were always copying each other. His WCW run lasted only about four months because he was gone after July 1999 and back to ECW until they closed their doors in 2001.
