Another reason that this makes a lot of sense is because if Brock Lesnar is the WWE Champion and he needs babyfaces to beat in title defenses then Batista would be a good fit for that. It's not like Batista really needs wins at this point in his career. All we want to see is one major match between two of WWE's most physically impressive of the last 15 years. There's actually a history between Lesnar and Batista going back to their days in Ohio Valley Wrestling in the early 2000s. Both guys debuted in 2002 within a few months of each other with Lesnar getting pushed as a main eventer and Batista was forced to be the deacon for Reverend Devon. You might recall also that WWE also teased the idea of the match happening earlier in the year where it sounded like Lesnar was going to go after the WWE Title or even Batista since he won the Royal Rumble, but then it just sort of ended. While it may not be a dream match to everybody, it's still a match that would garner a lot of attention and that's why WWE should do it.
