7 Great Talkers WWE Didn't Let Talk

6. Brock Lesnar

To say that Brock Lesnar's mild-mannered, high-pitched speaking voice doesn't fit his musclebound frame is a real understatement. Look at Lesnar and you'd think he'd sound like a mountain when he opened his mouth. That's not the case, and it's perhaps why WWE decided that Paul Heyman's rasp was the best way to explain Brock's physicality.

Of course, Heyman has been linked with Lesnar from the start in the company, and the pair continued their friendship away from WWE in UFC. The alliance made sense when Brock returned in 2012 then, and it's one that has remained unbroken ever since even when splits have been teased.

Here's the thing: Lesnar is way more articulate than he's given credit for, and he has shown (mainly during MMA-obsessed media interviews and on Steve Austin's Network podcast) that personality isn't a problem. Brock isn't the charisma vacuum most wrestlers relying on a manager are, but he doesn't need to do the yakking.

That's Heyman's gig, and WWE seem happy with it.
